I'm also reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee in preparation for The Big Read (check it out @ http://www.neabigread.org/communities/?community_id=1809). The event kicks-off on September 28th and goes through Halloween night. There will be a teen book discussion on October 21st so please plan on joining us!

I am currently listening to Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater on a playaway (pre-loaded digital audiobook player- gotta try one!). This story alternates between chapters where Grace and Sam narrate. The chapters also tell you the temperature outside at the time of each chapter- why, you might ask? Well.. the lower the temperature, the more likely Sam will turn into his werewolf persona. Intrigued? the book is on the shelf as we speak- it was just published this month- and the playaway will be back soon- this one is a page-turner (or would be if I had pages to turn!).

Catching Fire- the sequel to The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins published yesterday- YEAH! My Book Thieves book discussion copies are in the mail from Barnes & Noble and should arrive any day- I can hardly wait!
